CAD Technician - Marine

To contribute to the development and delivery of the Abu Dhabi Port Project. The role requires expertise in preparing detailed technical drawings for marine infrastructure, ensuring compliance with project standards and specifications.

Your new role, what's involved

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for marine structures, including jetties, piers, quay walls, and breakwaters.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to UAE regulations, client standards, and international codes.
• Manage drawing files, maintain version control, and ensure timely delivery of drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across design aspects.
• Support design reviews and make modifications as required based on stakeholder feedback.
• Conduct site visits, if needed, to support project implementation and resolve design issues.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Diploma or certification in CAD drafting or a related field (marine specialization preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a CAD Technician in marine or related infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in the UAE (GCC experience will also be considered to assess flexibility).
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Familiarity with UAE standards (ADM, AD Ports, etc.) and marine design codes.
• Experience with BIM tools is an advantage.
