CAD TECHNICIAN (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities:

• Design drawings for Utilities Networks Layouts, Profiles and standard details.
• Must be familiar with Authority AACM & ADM standards.
• Must have drawings submission experience with above mentioned Authorities as per their standards/guidelines.
• Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process.
• Must have experience on the use of computer aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation & Civil 3D.
• Liaise with Project Engineers on information requirements, project progress, and any potential delays.
• Creating engineering drawings based on concepts, sketches, and requirements.
• Contribute to the effective functioning of the team by identifying with and contributing to the team's objectives, communicating and sharing knowledge.
• Supports & coordinate with other team members.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Skills

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering
• Minimum 7+ years of UAE CAD drafting experience in utilities projects

Software experience required:

• AutoCAD
• MicroStation V8i
• Autodesk Civil 3D
• GIS (Advantage)
