Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for managing 3D models, providing user support, and ensuring the integration and customization of CAD tools.

TASKS:

• Administer and manage Smart 3D software, including customization and configuration.
• Provide user support and training to ensure effective use of CAD tools.
• Ensure seamless integration of Smart 3D with other engineering software and systems.
• Manage Navisworks models, ensuring accurate and up-to-date representations of project designs.
• Conduct model reviews and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve any issues related to 3D models.
• Customize Smart 3D to meet project-specific requirements and improve workflow efficiency.
• Utilize VB (.NET) programming for customization and integration tasks.
• Integrate and correlate Smart 3D with SPP&ID and other engineering tools.
• Ensure all designs and models comply with the Client’ standards and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and reviews of designs and models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including model management reports and technical support logs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the administration, customization, and user support of Smart 3D within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in offshore fixed facilities with an EPC background.
• Proven experience with Navisworks model management.
• Previous experience with Saudi Aramco or Qatargas standards is highly preferred.
• Expertise in Smart 3D administration and customization.
• Proficiency in VB (.NET) programming for customization and integration tasks.
• Experience with SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) is an added advantage.
• Fluent level of English, written and spoken.

• Contract Duration: 6 months;
