Responsibilities Include
Appraise and purchase used cars while recording them on our digital appraisal tool daily. Key objectives are to increase trade-ins to assist in selling more new and used cars and purchase “retail cars” for used car sales targets. Deliver an exceptional level of customer and colleague service at all times while meeting commercial requirements.
Business Development
- Appraise & value customer vehicles that come in through different sources accurately.
- Deliver all prices (subject to physical check by workshop/RTA) within the shortest time possible (Own brand 15 Minutes, Non-Franchise 60 minutes maximum).
- Source Volkswagen used cars for resale that fit within the certified program parameters (Other makes also considered moving into 2024).
- Responsible for achieving trade-in and direct purchase targets and KPIs set.
- Purchase the right vehicle and model mix to get the right used car inventory at the right price.
- Trade cars to be shown to wholesalers and traders to get a minimum of 2 bids, invoiced & delivered within 48 hours of coming into stock.
- Follow up on all hot prospects - trade-in inquiries with sales consultants/customers.
- Review and update retail & trade stock with managers weekly.
- Conduct weekly meetings with allocated sales consultants to discuss performance and course of action.
- Add reputable traders to the bidding list monthly. Ensure only registered traders with ANA are eligible to bid.
- Prepare purchases & trade-in report for NSM.
- Maintain a list of prospects for the new month.
Operational
- Work in conjunction with all sales consultants allocated under your team, maintaining a professional standard and fostering a strong relationship of trust.
- Maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers through an effective follow-up process to ensure relationships are maintained for potential repeat business.
- Ensure that all customer information, buying activities, vehicle documentation, and other relevant information are kept in a timely manner and maintained accurately and comprehensively.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma attested by MOFA.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Valid UAE Driver's License.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service approach and the ability to provide a great customer experience as a sales consultant.
