Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Buyer to join the team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 58 years of experience in procurement with a strong background in Fabrication Modular Building and EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best terms and cost for materials and services.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
3. Review and analyze purchase requisitions, identify potential cost savings and select the most appropriate suppliers.
4. Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Monitor and track supplier performance, resolving any issues that may arise.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met and projects are completed on time.
7. Keep up to date with industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions.
8. Conduct regular supplier evaluations and participate in supplier performance improvement initiatives.
9. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve profitability.
10. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and delivery information.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and ethical standards.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (BE/Btech preferred).
2. Minimum of 58 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Fabrication Modular Building and EPC processes.
4. Proven track record of successfully negotiating with suppliers and achieving cost savings.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
9. Knowledge of contract management and legal terms.
10. Willingness to travel as needed.
