Bachelor’s degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and/or related field.
A minimum of two years of current, full-time related teaching experience.
Teaching experience in an American curriculum school is preferred.
IELTS or TOFEL for non-native teachers (6.5 for subjects taught in English & 7.5 for English subjects).
Experience with current best practices, current teaching materials, and current instructional strategies, as well as recent professional growth activities.

Business & Economic Teacher Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing instruction on labor relations, finance, accounting, the stock market, the economy, human resources, and business operations.
Deliver instruction on topics such as marketing principles, how to operate a business, and the financial aspects of business.
Improve students' knowledge of business practices.
Teach business topics such as basic economics, resume writing, facts about business careers, account checking, computers, the stock market, accounting, and finance.
Deliver the skills and knowledge necessary for students to function as responsible citizens in the business world.
Read and stay abreast of current topics in business.
Teaching Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach all areas related to the subject and relevant curriculum.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior, policies, and procedures to maintain order among students.
Observe and evaluate students’ performance, behavior, and social development.
Instruct students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Provide various materials and resources for students to explore, manipulate, and use in learning activities.
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.

Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems or special academic interests.
Identify students showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and the SEN Department.
Maintain accurate and complete student records and prepare reports on students and activities, as required by ADEK/KHDA and the School.
Assess students by conducting quizzes, tests, projects, etc.
Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress.
Meet with other professionals to discuss individual students' needs and progress.
Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula.
Administer standardized ability and achievement tests and interpret results to determine students' developmental levels and needs.
Prepare for assigned classes and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisors.
Utilize different types of technology in the classroom to create meaningful learning experiences for students of all ages.
Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guests, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.
Attend professional meetings, including staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops, to maintain and improve performance and serve on committees as required.
Perform break duties as scheduled by the section’s administrators.
