About the Role:

Business Systems & Data Governance Manager

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:

The Business Systems and Data Governance Manager will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of business systems and data processes. This role focuses on integrating, optimizing, and automating data-driven workflows to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. The candidate will drive system improvements, ensure seamless data governance and AI implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Short Term (12 to 18 months)

• Project management of data and business system transformation
• Discovery (understanding the current state, audit of current systems, data sets, and workflows)
• Design and develop the future state of the architecture by engaging with the stakeholders and consultants.
• Analyze the gaps and propose the right tools and systems.
• Define the data governance frameworks for the short term and long term.

Long Term

• Lead the implementation of the project to transform legacy business data across various platforms into integrated, accessible, secure, and reliable business data sources.
• Establish and maintain robust data governance policies and frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity at source.
• Lead the training and adoption across the organization.
• Monitor and provide continuous improvement.

Business Systems & Digital Transformation:

• Lead the strategy and execution of business system improvements and data transformation initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies in current systems and recommend automation and process optimization solutions.
• Drive the adoption of digital tools and platforms to enhance data accessibility and analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure smooth implementation of new technologies and integrations.

Data Governance & Management:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Develop and maintain a centralized data architecture to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Work with stakeholders to define data standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Analytics & Insights:

• Oversee the development of dashboards and reports to provide actionable business insights.
• Implement data analytics frameworks to improve forecasting, performance tracking, and decision-making.
• Support leadership with strategic insights derived from advanced data analysis and modeling.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management:

• Partner with key stakeholders across finance, operations, IT, and compliance to align system capabilities with business needs.
• Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new systems and workflows.
• Conduct training and workshops to enhance user adoption and digital literacy within the organization.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certification in data governance, cloud computing, or project management (e.g., PMP, TOGAF, AWS, etc.).
• 7+ years of experience in business systems management, digital transformation, or data governance roles.
• Experience with process automation, system integration, and data transformation initiatives.
• Experience in a fast-paced, digital-first business environment.
• Qualifications and experience in AI and machine learning applications for business transformation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools, etc.) and data analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to data management and cybersecurity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in deploying enterprise-wide data governance framework.
• Experience in data and system integration and consolidation across multiple sources and systems.
• Experience in implementing a central data repository.
• Experience in AI deployment.
• Collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
