Business Solution Architect & Innovation Lead

Al-Futtaim Enterprise IT provides support to the Al-Futtaim Group across all geographies. It manages the IT application and infrastructure across various lines of business including Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services. The core components of EIT are Business Application Management, Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance.

The Business Solution Architect & Innovation Lead will work from the Dubai office. The candidate is expected to function as a prime interface between the Real Estate & Engineering Business segment representative of the group and the Enterprise IT. His primary job will be to provide optimal business solutions that meet the client business requirements, adding value through the adoption of best practices, business process improvement, and elimination of redundant activities within business processes.

The role also warrants leadership and organizational skills to manage the client, the ability to translate their requirements, guide internal/external teams to derive the solution, drive the implementation, and facilitate successful delivery. Additionally, the candidate will take the lead in innovations (products & services) for Real Estate & Engineering LOBs.

Research and make recommendations on software products and services for Real Estate and Engineering LOBs.

Other responsibilities will include:

1. Support and Maintenance of the Business systems
2. Design and document the Real Estate & Engineering Business requirements.
3. Align the business strategy with the IT strategy.
4. Collaborate with the business in identifying functional requirements for process groups, and create corresponding requirement documents.
5. Facilitate estimation of solution charge-out rates to Customers and negotiation with Vendors to help derive the charge-out rates.

Design and Evolution of the business process.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Qualification:

1. A degree in Information Systems Management or a business-related discipline.
2. Knowledge of various business applications such as SAP and others.

Experience:

1. At least 10 years in Systems Consulting, Business requirement definition, Solution architect, and R&D. Experience of working in the MENA region would be a big plus.
2. Significant exposure to and experience within the real estate/retail sector is a core requirement for the role.
3. Solid understanding of the potential of all available business applications.
4. MS Office skills, MS Project, MS VISIO.
5. Exposure to different charting techniques.
6. Exposure to different business process models.
