ADNOC Distribution markets, sells, and distributes transportation fuel to both retail and commercial customers. We also run non-fuel services at our service stations.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Communications Business Partner collaborates with management in order to enable measurable difference in employee focus and increase productivity. They formulate key partnerships across the business to facilitate the delivery of value-added communications services to management and employees that reflect the business values and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. The Communications Business Partner provides project management for communications initiatives, ensuring a close connection with the business to deliver consistent and aligned communications plans.
  2. They are responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, acting as a strategic communications resource.
  3. Continuously listening to departmental issues and challenges to support in delivering key communications deliverables and driving the business forward.

Relationships:

  1. Maintain healthy relationships across the business department and back to the main communications hub, conducting regular meetings with various business departments and building trusted relationships with departmental leadership.
  2. Provide informal leadership and mentorship to less experienced communications professionals within the business, acting as the program/process leader for various communications initiatives.
  3. Provide expert consultation on communication policies and updates, serving as the single point of contact on all communication-related matters to the leaders of a designated business unit/function.
  4. Work as a change agent, aligning business objectives strategy to communications strategy with employees and management, assessing and anticipating communications-related needs.
  5. Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the company’s financial position, plans, culture, demographics, and engagement levels.
  6. Recommend and advise on communications to ensure the targeted change management and communication plans are met.

Business Partnership:

  1. Work directly with ADNOC Distribution senior leadership to develop and direct a communications agenda that supports organizational goals.
  2. Act as an internal communications adviser, building relationships and providing resources and advising on the communications strategy, orientation, and best practices.
  3. Offer recommendations, participate in decision-making, and carry out the communications general goals.
  4. Collaborate with the communications department while consulting the executive team on communications issues and initiatives that affect the people and the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Technical Discipline, Business Administration or equivalent.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in communications, in-house communication teams, or agency.
  3. Analytical and communication skills; financial literacy and the ability to use communications systems.
