Business Director - Media

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain client relationships; become the day-to-day point of contact for clients.
2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of media planning including performance marketing across multiple channels.
3. Develop tactical campaign planning presentations and media plans based on thorough data analysis, audience insights and consumer journey, understand business challenges and market changes, competitive landscape analysis, cost-efficiency optimization.
4. Possess in-depth knowledge of all digital disciplines including paid search, paid social, programmatic/display, affiliates, online video, etc. Offline media planning experience is a bonus.
5. Ensure performance marketing frameworks and planning output is best-in-class by adopting an always-on innovation mindset.
6. Lead on client communication, campaign planning, optimization and reporting across planned digital platforms including Google Ads, Meta/Snap/TikTok/LinkedIn/Twitter Business Manager.
7. Provide guidance to the team in day-to-day tasks establishing effective processes for evaluating and tracking delivery of campaign KPIs.
8. Proactively look for ways to improve campaign performance and introduce new approaches that will contribute to clients’ success.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 12 years of agency experience in media planning including digital, performance marketing and eCommerce.
2. Proven experience in client management (this is a client-facing role).
3. Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, extract insights and provide data-driven recommendations.
4. Familiar with and experienced in web and app analytics platforms, attribution models and other ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta/Snap/TikTok/LinkedIn/Twitter Ads Manager).
