About the Role:
A leading industrial services provider in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales & Business Development Officer to lead client acquisition and revenue growth efforts across the UAE and GCC. This is a key role focused on expanding inspection, maintenance, and repair services within the downstream sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans targeting refineries, petrochemical plants, storage terminals, and service providers.
- Identify and build relationships with new clients across the UAE and GCC.
- Lead tendering, proposal writing, and contract negotiations.
- Support company registration with key operators and industry entities.
- Align sales initiatives with internal operations, manpower, and technical capabilities.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with agents, subcontractors, and partners to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with regional regulations and international QHSE standards.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales/business development in the downstream oil & gas sector.
- Strong understanding of the UAE and wider GCC downstream industry landscape.
- Existing network within refineries, petrochemical companies, and industrial operators.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Based in UAE with the ability and willingness to travel across GCC.
