Business Development Officer

Our client, one of the leading banks, is seeking a Business Development Officer:

Location: Abu Dhabi/ Dubai

Nationality: Any Preferable Arabic Speaker

Salary Bracket: AED 8,000 - AED 12,000 (depends on relevant experience) plus incentives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Merchant Acquiring Business
• Meet Sales Target Assigned
• Maintain the merchant portfolio assigned.
• Prevent Attrition through active merchant relationship management.
• Sell VAS to generate revenue, such as DCC, E-com, and setup charges, and meet the targets assigned against each of these VAS and other new products.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge:

• Graduate degree
• Knowledge of merchant acquiring sales/Retention preferred
• Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, risks, and Compliance
• Fair knowledge of service standards
• Good Communication and Negotiation Skills
• Microsoft Computer skills
• Self-motivated, Marketing skills, and Knowledge of sales negotiation
• Capable of communicating clearly and persuasively verbally and in writing. UAE market awareness is highly preferable
• UAE driver's License
• Minimum 3-5 years of acquiring/Banking experience.
