Business Development Manager | Recruitment Industry
The Business Development Manager at Boundless is responsible for driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Leveraging extensive experience in the recruitment industry, the BDM will expand the client portfolio, and ensure the delivery of exceptional recruitment services aligned with Boundless's values and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Portfolio Expansion
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Boundless's client base, targeting key industries and sectors.
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing customized recruitment solutions.
Conduct market research to identify trends, prospective clients, and competitive positioning within the recruitment industry.
Revenue Growth and Sales
Achieve and exceed revenue targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to align with client requirements while optimizing profitability.
Maintain and update a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Strategic Market Development
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for Boundless's services.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with agency objectives.
Proactively contribute to strategic planning, offering insights into emerging industries and opportunities.
Collaboration and Service Excellence
Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are met with precision and timeliness.
Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations, providing resolution and maintaining satisfaction.
Provide feedback to improve service delivery, recruitment processes, and overall client experience.
Networking and Branding
Represent Boundless at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and leverage networks to generate leads and referrals.
Promote Boundless through marketing initiatives, workshops, and thought leadership activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Growth in new client acquisitions and revenue generation.
Retention and satisfaction levels of existing clients.
Conversion rate of leads to successful contracts.
Achievement of quarterly and annual business development targets.
Contribution to Boundless's market positioning and reputation.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the recruitment industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of recruitment services, client needs, and industry trends.
Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining client relationships.
