Business Development Manager (Non-Life DSF UAE)

We are hiring a Business Development Manager for our Non-Life department in our UAE branches Dubai & Abu Dhabi.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategic business opportunities to drive growth. This role involves establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, while actively promoting life insurance products and services to meet organizational targets.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve its annual activities and sales targets as set by the management.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of innovative methods and performance metrics to increase clients sales, expand markets reach and promote business in the region.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing contacts and converting leads into customers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Comply with the required standards of sales excellence and best practice and operating effectiveness and efficiency, and Group, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of regional direct sales and profitability.
  • Discuss with his superior the sales operations and performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and achieved targets for senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with industry standards.
  • Handle disputes when needed and take necessary actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing or related field.
  • CII Diploma / certificate is a plus.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales, in the insurance in the UAE, with a proven portfolio track.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive approach to business development.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and regulatory environments.
  • Has knowledge of local laws and practices.
