Business Development Manager – Motor & Medical Insurance

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in Motor Insurance and/or Medical Insurance to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the UAE market, bringing in a portfolio of existing clients and driving business growth through revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Management: Leverage your existing portfolio of Motor and/or Medical Insurance clients to achieve revenue targets.
2. Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the UAE market, focusing on Motor and Medical Insurance solutions.
3. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction while exploring opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
4. Revenue Generation: Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals through proactive client management and sales strategies.
5. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
7. Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.

Qualifications

1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Motor Insurance and/or Medical Insurance within the UAE.
2. Portfolio: Must bring a portfolio of active clients in the UAE market.
3. Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE insurance regulations and products, particularly in the Motor and Medical Insurance sectors.

Skills:

1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong sales and client management abilities.
3. Proficient in using CRM tools and sales management software.
4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
5. Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu) are a plus.
