Business Development Manager - Leisure

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team in Sales & Marketing. The successful applicant will have a strong track record in sales and preferable experience in the hospitality industry/luxury customer service.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development or sales within the hospitality industry, specifically in the leisure segment.
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management / Business Administration.
- Understands the Local culture and experience in UAE.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Strong network of contacts within the travel and tourism industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of market trends, digital distribution channels, and revenue management strategies.
- Good understanding of Luxury market.
- Strategic thinking combined with the ability to move strategy to action.
- Proficiency in organizational planning with the ability to multi-task.

What will you do?
- Develop and implement business strategies to grow leisure segment revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and online travel platforms.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business.
- Organize and participate in trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to promote the hotel.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of leisure travel bookings.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with key partners to maximize revenue potential.
- Conduct and organize site inspections and entertainment to create awareness of our products for the clients.
- Execute Sales & Marketing action plans to promote hotel’s promotions, facilities, and activities.
- Responsible for determining and qualifying all sales personnel’s individual revenue goals and targets as outlined within the hotel KPI structure.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of long-staying guests, the hotel offers 161 fully-furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex, on a one-kilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland.
