Business Development Manager - HORECA/Food Service

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and enhance the quality of client relationships through regular meetings, feedback collection, and tailored solutions.
• Expand the current customer base by leveraging market research, networking, and targeted outreach initiatives.
• Effectively launch and achieve all launch objectives with a high level of sustainability, ensuring that new initiatives are viable long-term.
• Develop customer plans and ensure Volume, Revenue, and ASP targets are achieved for assigned sub-channels and regions.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers to analyze gaps and identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure timely and quality deliveries to customers and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Develop and submit Monthly Forecast to the concerned department to ensure accurate demand planning.
• Develop and submit teams’ monthly route-wise targets based on market analysis and past performance.
• Manage market outstanding within agreed DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and ensure collections are made as per customer credit terms.
• Manage the Sales Team by setting objectives, monitoring KPIs, and providing Business Development support.
• Recruit, manage, and develop the sales team for the assigned Sub-Channels to ensure high performance.
• Obtain and report competitive market intelligence (MIS) to inform strategic decisions and adjust plans as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 7 years functional experience, out of which 2 years should be in an equivalent Middle Management position.
• 5 years’ experience in UAE
• 5 years’ experience in FMCG
• 3 years’ experience in HORECA/Food Service sector
