Job Title: Business Development Manager Financial Lines (D&O, PI and Cyber Insurance)

Job Description:

Experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Financial Lines Insurance to join our client from the Insurance Industry. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability, Professional Indemnity (PI), and Cyber Insurance, along with a proven track record of working in the UAE market to develop business and nurture client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development
   • Identify and target potential clients, including corporates, SMEs, and professionals, for Financial Lines and Cyber Insurance products.
   • Actively source new opportunities and create tailored insurance solutions to meet clients' specific risk management needs.
   • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
2. Market Expertise and Insights
   • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks related to D&O, PI, and Cyber Insurance in the UAE.
   • Provide insights to enhance product offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
3. Client Engagement and Relationship Management
   • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners, offering exceptional service and expert advice.
   • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they understand and are protected against liability and cyber risks.
   • Foster long-term partnerships by consistently delivering high-value solutions and exemplary service.
4. Policy Expertise and Structuring
   • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of D&O, PI, and Cyber Insurance policies, including coverage options, exclusions, and underwriting requirements.
   • Work closely with underwriters and insurers to negotiate and structure policies that provide optimal protection for clients.
   • Ensure accurate documentation, timely policy issuance, and smooth renewals.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or account management within the insurance industry, with a focus on Financial Lines (D&O, PI) and Cyber Insurance.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the UAE insurance market, particularly in financial and cyber risk solutions.
• Skills:
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a client-centric approach.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability to design bespoke insurance solutions.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as ACII or similar will be advantageous.
