Business Development Manager - Construction Industry

On behalf of our client, a prestigious global leader in waste management solutions, we are looking to recruit an experienced Western Educated Business Development Manager to work in a multicultural environment in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

1. Aggressively marketing the client’s solutions/income/business each year, whilst working closely with the technical and estimating team.
2. Pricing of projects/jobs and contract and client negotiations will be a key aspect.
3. Head up the expansion of new markets and continue to expand existing markets and client portfolio.
4. Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization.
5. Involved with the tender process and provide project support, liaising with clients until approval of proposals and drawings.
6. Extensive travel to KSA, Qatar, and new markets within the Middle East and Europe will be essential.

Required Skills, Attributes & Experience:

1. The successful applicant will be Male, a native English speaker (or at least Western Educated) with excellent communication skills.
2. An engineering qualification, ideally an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree is required.
3. Construction/MEP experience is preferred.
4. Experience in the Middle East is essential.
5. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years work experience, with at least 5 years spent in Business Development at a senior level.
6. You must be able to display a proven track record in sales, business development, and winning new business whilst working to targets.
7. Financial and negotiation skills are necessary.
