Business Development Manager

LAPP Cables Middle East FZE is looking for a proactive and results-driven Specification Specialist to work closely with consultants and end users. This role focuses on getting LAPP's range of LV control, power, and specialized cables specified in projects and securing end-user approvals, particularly with organizations in industries such as Oil & Gas, utilities, and other key sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and nurture relationships with consultants, end users and industry stakeholders.
2. Collaborate with consultants to ensure LAPP cables are specified in project designs and tenders.
3. Obtain end-user approvals for LAPP's products by demonstrating their value and compliance with requirements.
4. Provide technical support and advice to consultants and clients regarding LAPP's product range.
5. Organize and deliver technical presentations and workshops to promote LAPP's solutions.
6. Conduct market research to identify project opportunities and emerging trends in the industry.
7. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align specification activities with broader business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in specification and approval processes within the cable or related industries.
3. Strong knowledge of LV cables, including their applications and technical requirements.
4. Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Experience working with Oil & Gas companies, utilities, or large-scale industrial clients is a strong advantage.
