Business Development Manager for Project Management & Cost Consultancy

As a Business Development Manager in the Project Management & Cost Consultancy (PMCC) department at Land Sterling, you will be instrumental in driving the department’s growth and expanding its client portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with existing clients, and enhancing our market presence within the project management and cost consultancy sector. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the industry and a strategic approach to business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, generate, and follow up on leads for the PMCC & Advisory department. Ensure a consistent pipeline of potential clients through strategic outreach, networking, and marketing efforts.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with current clients to maintain their loyalty and satisfaction. Work diligently to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their Land Sterling experience.
  • Actively pursue new client relationships by understanding market needs and positioning Land Sterling as the provider of choice for property consultancy services.
  • Collaborate closely with the MD PMCC and Marketing team to generate collaterals, proposals and capability statement presentation decks. Follow up on any leads provided by internal teams and assist in turning them into successful business relationships.
  • Attend client meetings alongside MD PMCC to present proposals, address client needs, and ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery.
  • Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Managing Director. Keep management informed about business development activities, lead generation, client meetings, and overall performance against sales targets.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals to prospective clients. Work closely with internal teams to ensure proposals are competitive and align with client requirements.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company. Track and report on progress regularly.
  • Identify, participate and attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the real estate or property consultancy industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Existing strong relationship/experience with real estate owners/developers, consultants and others in the industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of the real estate market in Dubai and the wider UAE.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience in preparing presentations, proposals and collaterals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
