Position Purpose:
The individual in this role is responsible for developing business at StoneX Retail, tasked with growing trading volumes, customer assets and overall profitability of their originated partners. This candidate will be specifically focused on the ME region. Success for this person will be determined by achieving baseline and incremental net revenue and operating profit margin targets, in addition to the effective management of business risks related to each client.
Responsibilities
Primary duties will include:
- Originate high quality clients for the StoneX Retail business in ME, which aligns with both the overall strategy for retail business and our direct sales and marketing efforts via the FOREX.com brand
- Drive business growth in ME by actively developing new business from leads that are primarily self-generated
- Collaborate with the regional team, operations teams and legal and compliance teams to onboard and manage the clients
- Liaise with leaders in other parts of StoneX business operational or doing business in the ME to ensure effective cooperation between the respective business development
- Liaise with relationship management teams to maximize commercial opportunities for StoneX Retail
- Communicate pipeline activities to Regional head
- Communicate feedback from prospects, current partners and general market feedback on Stonex Retail and competitor’s partnership solutions to regional team, product team and commercial leadership.
Qualifications
Primary duties will include:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development with a focus on financial derivatives, with specific experience in ME markets
- Strong understanding of trading solutions
- Direct experience and excellent knowledge of leveraged financial products
- Proven ability to originate new retail business that led to increase revenue while achieving target operating profit margins
- Proven ability to negotiate and build relationships with senior executives
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Graduate Degree
- Professional English and Arabic required
