Sales Leader / Business Development Manager at a Communications & Insights company, with a focus on impact-driven government and public sector clients, as well as CSR-focused organizations:

The company is a purpose-driven communications and insights company on a mission to create measurable impact through strategic storytelling, research, and stakeholder engagement. The clients span government bodies, public sector institutions, NGOs, and purpose-led brands committed to driving positive change.

As we grow, we're looking for a high-performing Sales Leader or Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition and relationship growth—especially across government, public sector, and CSR-focused organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting government agencies, public sector institutions, CSR departments, and purpose-led brands.
  • Build Meaningful Partnerships: Identify, approach, and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers who want to create real societal impact.
  • Client Engagement & Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and align our communications, research, and insight services to their goals and values.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the strategy, insights, and creative teams to craft bespoke solutions that resonate with prospective clients.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed revenue targets through new business wins and strategic account growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of policy, social impact trends, and communications best practices to inform outreach and positioning.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in sales or business development in an agency, consultancy, or relevant service-based environment.
  • Strong network or track record in the government, public sector, or CSR space.
  • Deep passion for purpose-driven work—you’re motivated by clients that want to make a difference.
  • Excellent communication, pitch, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Comfortable leading the full business development cycle from prospecting to closing.
