Business Development Executive - Event Sales

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration or any graduation.
  • Any nationality.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate should have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all client service functions including answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner, accurate and timely order entry, creating and running reports, and following orders.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budgets.
  • Consult with clients to identify their specific requirements and propose customized solutions that align with their goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle, addressing client queries, providing timely information, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling branding services.
  • Keep constant updates on the database of customers in liaison with line managers or department leads.
  • Assist clients with all of their daily needs including product availability, facilitate accurate and timely price quotes, troubleshooting, and delivery questions.
  • Prepare and execute proposals and contracts.
  • Assist the joinery team onsite with client coordination and setups of projects.
  • Must be able to travel (by own means) within UAE as part of project execution.
  • Must be able to handle strong personalities and difficult customers with professionalism.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in event & exhibition sales in the UAE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar discipline.
  • Sales hunting experience with a 'customer-first' approach.
  • Fluency in English & Hindi; Arabic is a plus.
  • A valid UAE Driving License is required.
