Job Title: Project Manager (Plumbing)

This is a Project Manager position in the Plumbing field. Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and communicating with the Construction Manager, Architect, and General Contractor to meet project requirements.

• Handling projects completely from start to finish (estimating, managing all aspects of the projects, asking for referrals, and making sales).

• Working closely with the Assistant PM to create and maintain bids, files, estimating, and project reports.

• Building and maintaining relationships with customers, requesting referrals.

• Managing budgets and schedules to ensure jobs are completed on time.

• Providing estimates or bids for industrial and commercial HVAC construction and retrofit projects.

• Managing projects to achieve milestones.

• Communicating with project sponsors, owners, and funding boards on progress.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Plumbing experience, estimating, and budget management (pre-bid meetings/walkthroughs).

• Budgeting experience related to commercial/industrial plumbing jobs of $5MM and up is required.

• Strong communication skills with architects, owners, contractors, and engineers.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and online GC software is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics.

• Knowledge of pipe fitting, drains, evaporative coolers, and sprinkler equipment.

• Skills in fixing, cutting, and installing piping and pipe fitting; diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plumbing; and drain cleaning.

• Physical requirement: ability to move and lift 75 lbs.
