About the role

Business Development Analyst plays an active role engaging with existing and prospective financial institutions related to Aani and other payments products. He/she attracts new financial institutions to the platform and ensures the participants are onboarded with necessary guidance in-place.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation of business development strategy to ensure a high level of adoption across potential participants.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with potential partners, financial institutions, and relevant industry players.
  3. Drive all the analyses and insight generation for driving business development agenda.
  4. Support the on-boarding process (e.g., schedules, testing, training, etc.).
  5. Develop market intelligence/knowledge on financial institutions’ needs and coordinate with relevant teams to create capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 3-5 years of work experience, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in Business Development and Account Management.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in any field.
  3. Previous experience in payments is a plus.
  4. Strong fluency in Arabic is a must.

Technical and Behavioral Skills

  1. Flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude, works well with changing timelines and priorities and can proactively manage up.
  2. Ability to gather and synthesize complex information, make sound tactical decisions, and communicate such information in a clear, simple way to a variety of audiences, ranging from senior executives to working-level analysts and technical specialists.
  3. Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities with both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
