We are currently seeking a Business Analyst- Food Hub for our HQ office in Dubai.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH:
This role challenges both your academic and personal strengths to help shape the region's first food supply chain and trade hub, a project central to the UAE's food security strategy, with the potential to significantly impact the national economy.
You will work in teams of typically 1-3 business development and solutions development specialists to analyse trade flows and supply chains and develop meaningful solutions to position Abu Dhabi Food Hub as the Industry's Trading and distribution hub of choice.
YOUR ROLE:
- Support execution of commercial strategy.
- Identify, gather, analyse, and present data on trade flows, economics, logistics, competitive intelligence, and geopolitics.
- Map food supply chains to identify gaps and opportunities to grow Abu Dhabi Food Hub's client base and revenue.
- Support solutions development for investment, supply chain attraction and drive change.
- Collaborate with government/non-government stakeholders on solutions, research or commercial strategy execution.
- Build a client database, drive business development, and oversee sales KPIs.
- Contribute and collaborate in marketing at exhibitions, conferences and other events.
- Support with marketing strategy and planning.
- Provide regular performance reports with key insights and recommendations.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate degree in business management, economics, data analytics or equivalent.
- 5+ years consulting experience MUST in F&B/Agri practice.
- Experience in trading ecosystems, retail/FMCG and multi-geographic experience is an added advantage.
SKILLS:
- Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader project.
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI). You are able to analyze results in PPT format.
- Commitment to quality work and strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are important.
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
- Motivated self-starter & able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Ability, initiative, and commitment to be a part of a culture of excellence.
- Database knowledge is an added advantage (e.g. UNComtrade, ITC, D&B Hoovers, FAOStat, IHS etc).
