As Business Analyst VIE in our Commercial Excellence team you will be supporting forecasting exercise and providing analysis of launched asset performance as well as preparing for future launches. You will be responsible for advanced analytics from various sources of data.

Main responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Insights and Analytics (I&A) team supporting on key strategic and analytical tasks.
2. Collaborate with Brand team leadership in key activities, such as brand planning, performance reviews, new indication launches, and assessment of new initiatives.
3. Collaborate with other Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) pillars for One Customer Intelligence Performance analytics.
4. Apply implemented data science techniques leveraging expertise and solutions within Sanofi to generate predictive insights tactical and strategic insights to improve marketing effectiveness.
5. Collaborate with brand team to develop and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with brand strategy and tactics performance incorporating the near-term forecast outlook.
6. In partnership with Analytics & Finance colleagues, develop and maintain KPI reports and end-of-month closing deliverables for the commercial team, covering Marketing, Sales, Finance, Market Access and other relevant functions.
7. Support local data management with key focus on harmonization across platforms, introduction of data standards, and governance across business teams.
8. Coordinate with data management to ensure insights are based on reliable, high-quality information.
9. Manage the Reference data sets to support local Business needs (Product, Corporations, Market definitions, Reference Originators, Molecule Lists, Specialty list, alignment, segmentation, Drug Class and others).
10. Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems. Create dashboards to synthesize information and enable business decisions.

About you

Experience:

1. 1-2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical / biotech forecasting; equivalent combination of education (MA, MS, MBA / PhD) and / or relevant consulting experience may be considered.

Soft and Technical skills:

1. Business acumen, with well-developed communication & presentation skills.
2. Good analytical and forecasting skills.
3. Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data sources in the market (IQVIA data, syndicated reports, etc.) and payer / health insurance environment would be a plus.
4. Proficiency in analytical platforms, CRM data systems (Veeva, Salesforce), data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
6. Effectively and confidently communicate to various audiences, including senior leadership.
7. Synthesize complex ideas to simple.
8. Strong learning agility and high degree of curiosity.
9. Strong focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning.
10. Strong work ethic and personal motivation.
11. Ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment.

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer science/ Applied math/ Engineering or related.
