The Role

You will be one of a team of Surveyors working in a lively, forward-thinking office alongside designers, maintenance surveyors and building surveyors. The team is responsible for a wide range of capital and maintenance projects. Building types you will be working on include leisure centres, commercial buildings and prominent buildings.

You will prepare detailed schedules, specifications and estimates for repairs, conversions, adaptations, improvements and some demolition works. Taking on a project management role, you will obtain full and accurate quotations and tenders from contractors, ensuring all work undertaken complies with current statutory regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of a BTEC, HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent
• A minimum of five years’ experience in building maintenance and refurbishment is desirable
• Drive to build a career within this pro-active and dynamic organisation

Skills :

• Ability to manage a diverse and interesting workload
• A working knowledge of different building types
• An ability to communicate with a range of clients both face-to-face and over the telephone
