Brand Communication Manager - On | Mizzen International, Seddiqi Holding

Seddiqi Holding is a family-owned and managed company with a unique, diversified portfolio of businesses and brands across numerous sectors. The business includes Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, Seddiqi Properties, Swiss Watch Services, and Mizzen.

We are seeking a Brand Communication Manager who will be responsible for planning and executing brand communication and activation plans for On in the GCC and Jordan within the assigned budget. The role involves exploring and proposing new marketing tools in line with brand guidelines, image, and strategies to maximize brand awareness and drive sales.

The Brand Communication Manager will oversee content development and manage day-to-day marketing activities across various platforms and channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing programs, leveraging internal support from the Group Marketing team and On global marketing and driving collaboration.
  • Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to make an impact, support On growth, and help increase sales, gross margins, and market share targets.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to continually increase traffic to the company's website and stores and build the customer database.
  • Develop comprehensive Brand marketing communication and activation plans for significant projects, events, and marketing initiatives, executing each proposed component. This will include preparing campaign briefs and plans for agency partners and managing those campaigns.

Operational

  • Plan, deliver, and monitor events to maximize brand presence and meet strategic objectives. This includes budgeting, briefing agencies, managing suppliers, and securing approval from relevant stakeholders while ensuring alignment with On guidelines.
  • Negotiate proposals and evaluate options with various vendors and arrange all related services with the suppliers such as AV, decoration, entertainment, venue, etc.
  • Manage photo shoots whenever required for marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for all related PR activities for On, including images, new releases, prices, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external PR and media to prepare media briefs, review press releases, and generate publicity to promote and launch products/services.
  • Manage the production of marketing materials required for brand events. This can involve stickers, banners, invitation cards, gifts, and press packs.
  • Work in collaboration with Brand Senior Manager, head of distribution, and the On General Manager to produce and implement innovative and cost-effective campaigns across all channels.

Managing Teams

  • Train and direct team members on the job to ensure that activities are handled efficiently, as per requirements.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the digital and social functions, including planning, updating, and working with external parties to maintain the various platforms.
  • Monitor budgets to ensure that the expenses are kept within established boundaries.

General Management

  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in International Business/Marketing/Mass Communication.
  • 8-10 years of job-related experience.
  • Experience in assortment selection, wholesale, and B2B.
  • Familiarity with different forms of affiliated marketing, social networking, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of fashion trends and styles.
  • Knowledge in the marketing of fashion or sports segments.
