Job description

Reporting to: Branch Manager
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing restaurant staff's work schedules
- Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
- Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
- Monitoring the restaurant's cash flow and settling outstanding bills
- Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Overseeing all front and back of the house restaurant operations
- Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
- Receiving complaints and resolving problems
- Maintaining timekeeping and personnel records
- Passing on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
- Ensuring adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertaking disciplinary actions if the need arises
- Ensuring that all checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift.
- Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff.
- Observing performance and encouraging improvement where necessary
- Ensuring staffing levels for all outlets are accurate based on event and business needs.
- Carrying out all the roles and responsibilities of the junior level as and when required.
Prerequisites
- Graduate in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or Hotel Management
- 35 years of minimum experience in a restaurant or related industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role within a restaurant or hotel
- Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing)
