Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the overall operations and medical excellence of the Clinics, in collaboration with all departmental heads.
  2. Responsible for advancing the interests of the facility, as expressed in its Vision and Mission statements.
  3. Responsible for providing the highest level of effective representation to the facility system and the community which it serves.
  4. Accountable for generating growth opportunity in overall clinical operations of the facility by developing and implementing strategic sales plan.
  5. Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the facility, the delegation of duties and the establishment of formal means of accountability.
  6. Maintain interface with departmental personnel to ensure there is adequate space and facilities for patient care and coordination of facilities.
  7. Provide support to the clinical, operational and facility services throughout the facility.
  8. Liaises with clinical professional staff in order to provide seamless patient care in all aspects of the journey through the facility.
  9. Manages and oversees that all documentation is correctly presented prior to patient’s files being used and returned thereafter to medical records.
  10. Investigate patient/visitor concerns and implements appropriate courses of action.
  11. Provides oversight on the process of ensuring that appropriate providers are available to deliver medical information upon request of patients.
  12. Ensures that all financial transactions are conducted in accordance with pertinent standards and legal requirements.
  13. Ensures the effective operation of a quality improvement process for the facility, including the periodic assessment of patient satisfaction.
  14. Take corrective action in situations requiring immediate intervention including interpretation and administration of company policy and work rules.
  15. Accountable for the provision of high-quality patient care, based on a competent understanding of patient / staff / medical / customer needs within established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  16. Ensures the timely update of policies and operational procedures manuals in accord with UAE laws.
  17. Document pertinent information, actions, and decisions; and communicate to the appropriate leadership.
  18. Ensures that an annual audit is conducted, and appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the findings.
  19. Participate in Quality and Accreditation activities such as MOH, JCIA, OSHAD, FANR, etc.
  20. Ensure that quality of services is provided as per standards of applicable health authority.
  21. Ensures that safety of all employees, patients, physicians, guests, visitors, and others is adequately addressed and protected.
  22. Monitor emergency action procedures and coordinate activities related to patient/staff evacuation as needed.
  23. Function as on-site coordinator for internal/external disaster or other major events.
  24. Responsible for the effective representation of the facility at appropriate public, civic and other organizational activities, and meetings.
  25. Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Line Manager within the scope of his/her job.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Suitable Graduation Degree.
  2. Master degree in Hospital Management (preferred).
  3. Minimum 6 years of experience in an aesthetic clinic/set-up with at least 2 years in a similar role.
