Job Description

Position Summary

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for BOP inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Additional qualifications, skills and abilities

• Proficiency in using hydraulic pressure testing units and BOP test pumps.
• Ability to work with high-pressure control systems and subsea equipment.
• Understanding of rig operations and well control principles.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work under pressure and in hazardous environments.

Qualifications

• Competence in preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose BOP system failures.
• Ability to train and mentor junior technicians. Commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and in hazardous environments.
