Job Description
Position Summary
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for BOP inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Additional qualifications, skills and abilities
- Proficiency in using hydraulic pressure testing units and BOP test pumps.
- Ability to work with high-pressure control systems and subsea equipment.
- Understanding of rig operations and well control principles.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work under pressure and in hazardous environments.
Qualifications
- Competence in preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose BOP system failures.
- Ability to train and mentor junior technicians. Commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and in hazardous environments.
Working Conditions
