Boom loader and Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate boom loaders and forklifts safely to load and unload materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct daily pre-operational checks on equipment to identify and address any mechanical issues before use, minimizing downtime.
• Efficiently stack and store materials in designated areas, optimizing space and ensuring easy access for future retrieval.
• Transport materials to and from designated areas, coordinating with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of materials handled, including quantities and locations, to support inventory management and tracking.
• Adhere to site safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent damage to goods.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on equipment operation and safety procedures, enhancing personal skills and workplace safety.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to prioritize tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
• Support maintenance teams by performing minor repairs and cleaning of equipment, contributing to the longevity of machinery.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience operating boom loaders and forklifts, ideally in a warehouse or construction environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience preferred, showcasing a strong understanding of material handling.
• Open to candidates of all nationalities; however, local experience is a plus for understanding regional regulations.
