Job Description:
As a Boat Mechanic at Secure Establishment, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of boat engines and systems. This includes both inboard and outboard engines, electrical systems, plumbing, and other marine mechanical components. You will work with a team of skilled technicians to ensure that our clients' vessels are in optimal working condition for safety, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of boat engines (inboard, outboard, and stern drive).
2. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, fuel system inspections, and more.
3. Repair and replace electrical systems, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and other mechanical parts.
4. Inspect boats for mechanical problems and identify solutions to ensure optimal performance.
5. Keep detailed records of all services performed.
6. Communicate with customers about their boat’s needs and offer maintenance or repair recommendations.
7. Stay up to date with industry best practices and marine technology advancements.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Boat Mechanic or Marine Technician (at least [X] years preferred).
2. Strong knowledge of boat engines, electrical systems, and marine mechanics.
3. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in boats.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills, especially with customers.
7. Valid driver’s license and ability to transport boats to and from job sites (if applicable).
8. Relevant certifications in marine technology (e.g., ASE, Yamaha, Mercury, etc.) are a plus.
