BMS Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced BMS Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and the ability to carry out fieldwork tasks as required. This position is essential for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor BMS systems to ensure smooth functioning and address any alarms or system malfunctions promptly.
• Perform routine checks on various building systems (HVAC, lighting, fire alarms, security systems, etc.).
• Identify and troubleshoot BMS system issues and take corrective actions to maintain system integrity.
• Conduct fieldwork activities including system installations, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with other teams to support facility maintenance and emergency troubleshooting.
• Provide regular updates and reports on system performance and any issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while working on building systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, inspections, and repairs.

Key Qualifications:

• Education:
• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Mechanical Engineering (MECH) from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a BMS Operator with a solid understanding of building automation systems.
• Prior experience with hands-on fieldwork in installation and maintenance of building systems is required.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in operating and monitoring BMS software and hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and perform fieldwork as required.
