Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the biomedical sector, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital procurement teams, and key opinion leaders to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide comprehensive product training and support to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and proper usage of biomedical products.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create tailored promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture through continuous coaching and development.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance in all sales activities, maintaining the integrity of the biomedical products.
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to network, showcase products, and gather insights into market needs and innovations.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring that all sales activities are cost-efficient and contribute to overall profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; an MBA is a plus for strategic insights.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomedical sales or a similar role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Medical Sales Representative (CMSR) or similar credentials to demonstrate industry knowledge.
  • Experience in working with medical devices or healthcare products, specifically in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a distinct advantage for broader market reach.
  • Strong technical skills to understand complex biomedical products and convey their value proposition effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities to address client concerns and provide tailored solutions promptly.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
