Job Description

ELECTRICAL

1. Create and manage detailed electrical BIM models using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
2. Develop accurate 3D models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and ELV systems.
3. Ensure all models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and structural engineers, to resolve design conflicts.
5. Conduct clash detection using tools like Navisworks and resolve identified issues.
6. Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to achieving integrated project delivery goals.
7. Produce detailed shop drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical systems based on BIM models.
8. Ensure proper documentation and updating of As-Built models as required.
9. Adhere to local and international standards, such as DEWA, ADDC, and SEC requirements in the GCC.
10. Maintain quality and accuracy in all BIM deliverables.

MECHANICAL

1. Develop accurate and coordinated MEP models (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) in Revit, ensuring all systems are integrated seamlessly.
2. Prepare detailed MEP services sheets, ensuring all required information is clearly presented for submission.
3. Extract MEP shop drawings from the Revit model for submission purposes, ensuring they comply with project requirements and standards.
4. Update the MEP model to reflect as-built conditions, using red-line drawings or project-specific methods.
5. Compile and organize COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) data and client FM (Facility Management) asset parameters as per project specifications.
6. Ensure compliance with project-specific standards, BIM protocols, and relevant industry standards.
7. Coordinate with project teams, including architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines, to resolve any clashes or issues within the MEP model.
8. Assist in the preparation of project documentation and report progress to the BIM Manager or Project Manager.
9. Participate in regular BIM coordination meetings to ensure smooth project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. BSC in Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering
2. 2-4 years UAE experience.
3. Experience with Cobie.
4. Skilled in: Electrical Revit families, MEP Revit families, Electrical circuiting, and Navisworks.
