The BIM Architect will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create and manage digital representations of architectural designs (CD to IFC). They will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop detailed 3D models that support the design and construction process. The BIM Architect will also be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of BIM workflows.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the in-house BIM Committee to develop BIM content and library, upgrade BIM standards, and improve project templates.
- Producing periodic BIM reports for projects, to identify and measure BIM implementation.
- Implement BIM Execution Plan in projects and evaluate the Project Information Model for compliance with BEP.
- Actively participate in BIM Process throughout the design phase with routine responsibility not limited to handling of CDE, MIDP, TIDP, Data Drops, Model health checking of PIM and being responsible for Design Issues.
- Follow Office BIM protocol and ensure delivery of PIM and stage deliverables as per office standards.
- Review stage submission of PIM and conduct QA/QC audit based on BEP or office template.
- Ensure models are developed in compliance with BEP and follows LOD requirements and Classification system as defined.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Responsible for the preparation of design deliverables & authority submissions as per the task assigned.
Profile
- Must have a Professional degree (Masters or Bachelor) in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit) is a must. Additional software skills such as AutoCAD, Dynamo, Sketchup, Photoshop are preferred.
- Revit Expert level with minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Revit and Navis work.
- Sound knowledge of local authority / international codes.
- Knowledge of architectural design principles and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
