We are looking for a mid-level Billing and Insurance Coordinator with prior experience in the Emergency Department to join our dynamic team of individuals.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced billing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing patient billing inquiries
Providing explanation of charges
Providing explanation of post charges and payments to correct accounts
Understand, follow and support all hospital infection control programs
Desired Candidate Profile:
Prior Emergency Department experience is a must.
Excellent communication skills, professional customer service, resourceful and motivated. The ability to be flexible is required for working different shifts.
Must be detail-oriented and a multi-tasker.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance card terminologies. Data entry with strong attention to detail.
