Responsibilities
Reporting to the Front of the House Manager, the Bell Attendant will work in coordination with the Concierge, Front Desk, and Hotel Ambassador team to ensure all guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. He will also work closely with the Valet parking, Doorman, and Limousine drivers to ensure a flawless guest experience.

  • Escort arriving guests to their room, handling their luggage with care and efficiency and presenting the in-room orientation.
  • Assist departing guests with luggage, transportation requirements, etc.
  • Store and retrieve guests' luggage and belongings.
  • Answer telephones, deliver messages, packages, flowers, etc. to guest rooms.
  • Help maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the lobby, at the Concierge Desk, the front entrance, and the luggage storage areas.
  • Keep the Concierge well-informed regarding any guest problems, special requests, complaints, etc.
  • Maneuver luggage carts and heavy and awkward crates around the hotel.

Requirements

  • College education and one year of luxury hotel work experience.
  • Strong guest service experience.
  • Ability to work well and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of how to operate computer equipment.
  • Excellent ability to read, speak, and write English.
  • Knowledge of an international language is an added advantage.
