Basin Modeller

My Client is a large international service company who specialize in E&P projects globally. They have a large contract with an IOC in Abu Dhabi who require a Basin Modeller for a 7-month renewable contract to be based in Abu Dhabi on a Residential Basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Obtaining information from various geoscience teams and generating Petroleum models
2. Reviewing and integrating results of Geochemist evaluations
3. Evaluating existing Basin modelling inputs and deliverables
4. Salt tectonic Evolution modelling through Geological time
5. Performing fluid compositional modelling to generate gas distribution maps
6. Assisting in regional play evaluations

Requirements:

Experience with: Petromod, Petrel, Advanced Excel software

The Basin Modeller must have 15+ years experience in the application of geochemistry to Basin Modelling, salt tectonic, lead and prospect generation.

Candidates with a Bachelor's in Geology with an MSc will only be considered.
