Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to join our Drift F&B team at One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the bar's standards of operation. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and monitor usage to prevent wastage.
- Interact with guests, taking orders and offering recommendations based on menu knowledge and guest preferences.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to create new cocktails and drink offerings for special events and promotions.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate matters to the Head Bartender when necessary.
- Ensure that all beverages are served within the set timeframes and adhere to the resort’s high standards of hospitality.
- Assist in training junior bar staff and ensure that all team members follow the bar’s operating procedures.
- Participate in regular team meetings, offering feedback and suggestions for improving service and efficiency.
- Comply with all licensing regulations and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- High level of personal grooming and presentation standards.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices.
- A passion for delivering high-quality guest service and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in bartending or hospitality management is preferred.
Work Hours:
Full-time with flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Experience in Months:
A minimum of 12 to 24 months of experience in a similar role.
