Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service and creating a positive guest experience. This role requires a strong knowledge of mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender prepares and serves a variety of beverages, interacts with customers, and ensures the cleanliness and efficiency of the bar area.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and customer preferences.
2. Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences and the available menu.
3. Create visually appealing and well-presented drinks, paying attention to detail and garnishing as required.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning utensils, and sanitizing surfaces.
5. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking and processing payment for drinks.
6. Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations, ensuring responsible and safe service to customers.
7. Stay updated on current beverage trends, new ingredients, and mixology techniques to continuously enhance drink offerings.
8. Collaborate with the kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
9. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
10. Follow proper cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
2. Excellent knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
3. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple drink orders simultaneously.
5. Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients and proper serving techniques.
6. Familiarity with bar equipment, tools, and sanitation standards.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
9. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
10. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations related to beverage service.
