Job Description

As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in a fast-paced environment.
• Mix and serve alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Operate coffee machines, blenders, and bar equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and coffee station, including regular cleaning of equipment and workspaces.
• Take customer orders and suggest items based on preferences or dietary restrictions.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, including operating the POS system.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and alcohol service protocols.
• Manage customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth service during busy periods.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machines, and bar equipment.
• Basic knowledge of cocktail preparation and mixing drinks is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a positive and approachable attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (depending on location).
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients.
• Food handling or bartender certification may be required (depending on local regulations).
