A Barista at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre engages our guests during their visit, receives/serves orders, and ensures brand service standards are met to the highest quality.

What will I be doing?

A Barista at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre will be responsible for delivering high quality coffees to our guests while serving them in a friendly, efficient manner and maintaining a clean and safe work environment while ensuring that guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well attended to at all times.

1. Take coffee orders from guests and the F&B service team.
2. Prepare and serve coffees consistently with the hotel standard drink recipe.
3. Assist in other beverage orders and preparation as required.
4. Prepare different kinds of latte art for coffees with creativity and style.
5. Maintain glasses and other items in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotional suggestions.
6. Present drinks menu, make specific recommendations, and answer questions about beverages.
7. Responsible for restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
8. Clear and reset tables in the bar as required.
9. Record drinks orders accurately.
10. Assist in creating and implementing standard coffee recipes for the outlets.
11. Conduct coffee trainings for the F&B team as required.
12. Maintain a friendly atmosphere and deal efficiently with any problems that may arise.
13. Be passionate about customer service with the capability of delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests.
14. Assist the dining area if needed during busy operations.

1. Previous experience as Barista.
2. Experience in Latte Art.
3. Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills.
4. Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
5. Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
