We are actively seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as an Barista.
What Do We Look For
- High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in barista training is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a barista, preferably in a high-end café or restaurant.
- Expertise in preparing tea and coffee beverages.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, tea varieties, brewing methods, and equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Basic understanding of inventory and stock management.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What Will You Work On
Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, specialty teas, and custom drinks.
- Master brewing techniques to ensure consistency and quality in all drinks.
- Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain brand standards.
Equipment Maintenance
- Operate and maintain coffee and tea equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure equipment functions properly.
- Notify management of any equipment issues or repair needs.
Inventory and Stock Management
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee, tea, and other supplies, ensuring sufficient stock at all times.
- Assist in placing orders for inventory as needed.
- Minimize waste through efficient preparation and inventory control practices.
Workplace Cleanliness and Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the coffee and tea station at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including hygiene protocols and food handling regulations.
- Follow workplace safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest tea and coffee trends, techniques, and recipes.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide input to enhance the tea and coffee menu with creative ideas.
