Barista

Our client is a busy healthy cafe concept, and they are looking for an energetic barista to join their team.

What will you do?

• Set up daily bar counter and ensure that mise en place and any other required ingredients and equipment are prepared in order to work as efficiently as possible.
• Ensure that all beverages, such as coffee and teas, are in good order to be served.
• Check the inventory daily before each shift to assure correct amounts are stocked up to avoid running out of stock during service periods.
• Assist in carrying out monthly inventories together with the Supervisor.
• Ensure that correct date labeling is always in place for all related products.
• Anticipate guests' needs by following service behavior.
• Ensure that the equipment is taken care of and managed properly to avoid any breakdowns.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years previous experience as a barista.
• Awareness of the basics for cold drinks and mocktails preparation.
• Warm and inviting personality.
• Ability to think calmly under pressure.
• Willingness to learn with an open mind.
• Passion for food & beverage and a curious personality.
