Barista Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at our busy cafe located in a popular Ajman mall. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas, as well as preparing fresh juices, pastries, and croissants. You will also provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive and memorable experience for all our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and serving a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and cold brew.
2. Crafting fresh juices, smoothies, and other non-coffee beverages.
3. Preparing pastries, croissants, and other light snacks.
4. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and prep area.
5. Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building rapport with regulars.
6. Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe or coffee shop environment.
2. In-depth knowledge of coffee preparation methods, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
3. Ability to operate various coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
4. Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
6. Fluency in English and Arabic.
