Barge Coordinator/ Master

Job description

The Barge master must have experience with positioning the barge at sea, calculating the tide, current, waves and wind. Good communication skills because of the cooperation between the barge and other assisting vessels.

• Working on board of a small (70mx20) positioning pontoon on spuds
• Working as a barge coordinator = responsible for all works & personnel on board
• The job includes actual work on deck (not all day on the bridge of a vessel)
• Working in the UAE = extreme weather conditions
• Accommodation on a barge offshore, where no camera’s are allowed
